Great portrait, I'm always amazed when such old paintings are so lifelike! I didn't notice the fly until after reading the Wiki page :-). I'd never heard of this painter before, and he turned out to be Dutch!
It is a wonderful portrait. I like the way he looks straight at you. I also like the painting, Portrait of a Young Girl, on the Wiki page.
