    They first moved the building to the Heritage Square Museum in Montecito Heights (Castle_1969.jpg) to be restored. Approximately seven months after the building was relocated, it was completely destroyed by a fire, believed to have been set by arsonists.

    Fascinating contrast -- hadn't seen this before. First time I was in LA was about ten years after this photo.
