  2. I've never seen anything like that either, Rob. He has another ring on a cord on his left arm, strange.
    I like the painting, although the painter is new to me, he was a Dutchman.

    1. I am not familiar with him either. According to Wikipedia he was born in Utrecht, that's very close to where I live.

  3. I also looked him up and noticed he came from Utrecht. Talking of Dutch art the BBC ran a program on the reopening of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam after a ten year renovation. I was really impressed. A great collection of art including eastern art and a new 20th Century section and of course all the great Dutch masters. I would really like to get over and see it.
