Ray, I felt his loss. The Velvet Underground albums, and some of his solo music, were an early fascination of mine.
Hi Jonathan, I first heard The Velvet Underground in 1970, they'd disbanded by then but I picked up on Lou Reed and followed his music for the rest of his career. Sad to see him go.
